What should be done

Look for God,are u not tired of d cravings already? I know u hv seen that nothing else lasts in this life, stop seeing God as abstract,He is always present, quit d lies u call wisdom,be honest,be open, love without fault, don’t hurt anyone and don’t cause anyone to hurt. like Paul, strive to maintain a good conscience before God and man for only a man that his conscience does hold him that can stand boldly before God. Come to God and find rest from this world, this is the truth and u know deep withing u,it is what is right.

God is never late, that’s a lesson I’ve had to learn the hard way. God is not slow, He is not sluggish, He is not lazy, He cares more about you than you can ever imaging. He could have saved us all in a second, yet he sent a child and waited thirty three and a half years to bring us salvation. We serve a God that works with seasons, so even though you have been buried, its so you can grow, though the winter may be long, harvest will surely come, hold on, hang on.

In its time, God will do it swiftly

When you read through Mark 4:1-20. Jesus preached to the people using the first parable and what to me is one of the most important parables He ever told people.
We are change by the word of God. God’s word is the ultimate tool that God uses to shape His people, but the effectiveness of this word is dependent on the receiver’s attitude towards the word of God.
Jesus brought out four kinds of heart in this simple parable, and the difference between these hearts is just their attitude towards the word they received. You have to note that it was not the “heart” that yielded fruits; it is the word of God (the seed) that yielded fruit.
A lot of us want a change in our walk with God, we want our life to be more productive than it is right now but we are not ready to put the word of God in our hearts, it is this tool (the word) that God will use to give you the change you so desire. If you want to have a fruitful life, you will have to change your attitude towards the word of God.
From the parable by Jesus, these are some of the positive attitudes that I know, if implemented in your life, can cause the word of God to fruit in your life:

One of the reasons why the seed did not grow in the parable as mentioned by Jesus was that the seed fell on a HARD GROUND.
The hard ground represents the heart that hears the word but is not ready to obey, it is stubborn, it is not MEEK (teachable and correctable). In Such hearts, the word will yield no fruit.

Plants with shallow root have little or no stability, when the winds and other harsh situations come on them, they can barely withstand them.
To root your life deep with God can be achieved through accepting the word, studying it over and over until it becomes part of you, believe what it says and greatest of all of these is to obey the word. Doing these roots the word of God deep in your life and enables you to nurture the word of God to full bloom.

LUST (MARK 4:18, ROM 12:2)
The next crucial (to me, it is the greatest thing that Jesus countered while teaching the parable) is the issue of LUST. I define LUST as “the state of being carried away by the earthly things your eyes can see, your heart can imagine, your body can feel, your nose can perceive and your tongue can taste”. For me, it is a state of being totally ruled by your flesh, the word of God cannot grow in this kind of people, because their hearts are too crowded with lust to even be able to meditate on the word of God.
I see MEDITATION on the word of God as a key practice that helps nurture the word; you are watering the word when you give time to meditate on it.
These kinds of people don’t meditate on the word of God; they are just ruled by their emotions.

ROM 12:1-2, 2COR 6:14, HEBREWS 12:1-2(MSG)

So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life–your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life–and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Don’t become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That’s not partnership; that’s war. Is light best friends with dark? So leave the corruption and compromise; leave it for good,” says God. “Don’t link up with those who will pollute you. I want you all for myself.

Do you see what this means–all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running–and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed–that exhilarating finish in and with God–he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honour, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he ploughed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

One of the greatest gifts that God gave to man is the gift of CHOICE; the act of making decision without divine interference. The difference between a believer and an unbeliever is choice. They have been a lot of people that have tried to establish whether or not Jesus ever walked the earth, whether or not He actually did the things He did, they call it “Proofing the existence of Jesus”, well, I don’t blame them because that is what they have chosen to do. God will never force a man to choose Him, He will never interfere with your free will until you begin to see the need to go Him. God is not the devil, He won’t hunt you like a roaring lion just to get you to do His will, He is ever patient with you, always standing at door and knock until you hear His voice the choose to open the door to let Him in (Rev 3:20), waiting until you see the need to Come to Him.

When we choose to do a particular thing, we commit ourselves the more to it. Our commitment level is higher when we choose things out of our own free will, when we are not forced to choose those things. You will be more committed to the devil if you decide to follow him on your own, in the same way; you will be more committed to God if you choose Him, above all other things.

It requires FAITH to see the things of the kingdom.

Unlike the devil, the things of God are hidden, even when you finally see them, you will realize that they are not enticing, they are not compelling. Now, the reason God hides His things is that, they are treasures (Mat 13:5). Treasures are hidden; they are not put in the public for everyone to see. God will not first of all show you the great and mighty things of the kingdom until He has found out that you have been so desperately in search of it. He does not entice you with His treasures so that you will not love His things more than you actually love Him, He wants to first know that you love Him then He begins to show you gradually as your love for Him grows, the great and mighty things of the kingdom (Matt 6:33, John 15:7). Because God will not come to you first with tangibles, quantitative things, enticing things (like the devil does) we tend to see Him as one God with nothing to show and we say that He is not reasonable because He has come to us with only words and He expects us to put our trust, faith, hope and even love on Him and His words. Well the truth is this, IT TAKES PUTTING OUR TRUST, FAITH, HOPE AND EVEN LOVE IN THIS GOD TO ACCESS THE TANGIBLES AND QUANTITATIVE THINGS HE HAS but, not many can do this, that is why the Bible says;

‘But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name’’

John 1:12

It is only them that believe that can access this GOD.
